I think it is always great over a long break to have a Bob Fosse movie day. I like to start with Cabaret, then All that Jazz and end with Chicago. Great music and dancing. I either watch them curled up in blankets or have them playing while on a sewing marathon. The tunes just stick in my head. Enjoy your movie day and thanks for the reminder to gather my films for Fosse day!

My favorite Christmas movie is "Prancer". I watch it every year if I can catch it on TV. It's a sweet movie about a little girl who believes in Santa AND the reindeer, and how the power of love can heal a family.

It's so hard to recommend books without knowing what somebody else likes! I recently finished the Phyrne Fisher mystery series and enjoyed it, and a nonfiction book I really enjoyed recently is Stoned: Jewelry, Obsession, and How Desire Shapes the World. I have read a truly ridiculous amount of books this year (150!) but so many of them are either fantasy/scifi or romance and those can be hard to recommend. Thanks for the giveaway!
